This is an opportunity to purchase an essentially brand new Elecraft KX3 portable transceiver. It has a serial number 11,606 and is a few years old.

This was purchased by one of our club (MKARS) members who moved into a care home and has now sadly passed away. It doesn’t appear that he ever used it as he became unwell soon after he purchased it.

It is the standard 10W KX3 transceiver and has the 20W automatic ATU fitted, together with the on-board iambic KXPD3 keyer paddle. It is complete also with the supplied KX3 hand microphone. It was purchased as an assembled unit from the UK agent.

It is in its original shipping box and complete with all instruction manuals and documentation

This was over £1,900 new (W&S) and if ordered today from the USA, before any duty, taxes or shipping charges, it would be about $2,300+.

The proceeds from this sale are being returned to the XYL of the club member with half of the money going to the Alzheimer’s charity.

Given this is essentially brand new (the Club has done a ‘switch on’ and power output test) we are asking £1,200 and a carriage charge of £20.

Please message me if interested.

Thanks,
